The edges are fringed, giving it a little extra decorative element. It is made of 85% felted wool and 15% Polyester. It was created authentically in India where it was woven by hand. Aside from the color making it easy to hide dirt, the rug itself is resistant to stains. This means that any household can be suited to this area rug, even families with children and/or pets.
